Jeffrey Jerome Cohen, “Prismatic Ecologies”

Please attend this year’s first Kemp Malone reading group to discuss the work of Dr. Jeffrey Jerome Cohen, who will be the Kemp Malone speaker.
Dr. Cohen is Professor of English and Director of the Medieval and Early Modern Studies Institute at the George Washington University. Dr. Cohen’s works on medieval studies, ecocriticism, and queer theory. We are particularly excited to feature a scholar whose innovative work spans different fields.
For this first of two reading group meetings, we will be discussing the introduction to Dr. Cohen’s edited volume, Prismatic Ecology: Ecotheory Beyond Green (attached).
Dr. Jim Morey has kindly agreed to serve as faculty discussant. I hope to see many of you for what promises to be a lively and engaging discussion!
